Bio
Joan Astallé (Barcelona, 1985) is a Catalan architect based in Barcelona. He graduated from the School of Architecture of La Salle (ETSALS) in 2012 and collaborated with various studios before co-founding CRÜ in 2014. Since early 2022, he has been leading CRÜ studio, combining his work at the studio with giving lectures, courses, and workshops at design and architecture schools. Alongside his work at the studio, he was an assistant lecturer in 2nd and 4th year of architecture at the ETSALS (2014-2016). Several of his projects have received awards (IDEA Tops Awards, German Design Awards, DSM Architecture Awards, HÄUSER Awards) and recognitions (Dezeen Awards 2023, Premis FAD 2022, Premis Arquitectura CSCAE 2021).
